How many shops have you had or worked in? . . . In 17 years I’ve only been in 4 spots. 3 for a couple years each and one for a full decade. . . . As I’m getting ready to go into the 5th I’ve been thinking about what a personal space they become. I arguably spend more time here than at home. And just a like a home it takes a while to find your flow and a sense of “place” . . . While me and this shop were really just finding our groove I can’t deny the fact that I’m excited to build myself into a new spot. With every one I learn a little more and make a few more changes. Each past space informing the next and each one feeling a little more like home. #BRNLY #Shop #Life #ebbandflow #Balance #LoadItUp #TruckItOut+

My thoughts are with the De Asis family tonight. As a knife loving kid growing up in 80’s Les and @benchmadeknifecompany played a huge part in the way that I looked at knives and knife design. The high standards that they’ve held over the years speaks volumes about the passion and persistence that has gone into the company. Rest In Peace Les, thank you for giving so many of us something to strive for. #Benchmade #Bali-Song #PacificCutleryCorp #Grateful #GodSpeed+
