Day 10. Two of a kind. My final self imposed project of the class was to try and forge a knife to shape and then repeat the process. Consistency is always something that I’ve strived for in my work regardless of process. I know they are very simple in terms of design and they are not a 100% match but this was a major win for me and shows that what I have learned over the past two weeks from Timothy Potier has had an effect on my understanding. I know these smashed and crusty pieces of steel haven’t made for the most exciting posts but thanks for following along. Hopefully I’ll be able to do something cool with my new skills in the near future. #BurnleyKnives #Forging #Practice #MoreToCome @newenglandschoolofmetalwork+
