I remember since I was a kid my Pa telling me I would never understand what it felt like to be a father until I was one. This comment would usually come when he was really proud of me or when we were locking horns over one thing or another. On a subconscious level I always accepted that fact and in a few more days maybe I’ll start to understand why. Father son relationships can be tough and me and mine have had some rough patches, but he was always there for me when I needed him so all I can do at this point is try to learn from my mistakes and promise be there for @madsterful and our boy.
