I’ve always been inspired by designs that have made the jump from one application or demographic to another. The Laguiole style knives are a great example of this process. Starting out as an everyday carry knife of the time, the laguiole went from a fixed blade to a folder and onto the ubiquitous dining room staple that we know today. So when I was in Germany visiting @boker_knives and over dinner the possibility of doing a set of steak knives based on my #Kwaiken flipper design was brought up I was all in!
